Launch Event 2019

Launch Event 2019

Buy Single Tickets or take advantage of one of our membership packages (Scroll down for event description)

Join us at our 7th Annual Launch Event and help us kick of the 2019-2020 season with a bang. The National Council is a non-profit run by volunteers, so all the money fundraised tonight will be used to hold top-notch auditions and award valuable prize money to young singers. The National Council does not receive financial support from the MetOpera, so organizing events like this is the only way for us to keep holding these wonderful auditions. The more money we raise on September 19th, the higher the prizes we will be able to award at the District Auditions (November 4th and 5th) and Region Finals (January 22nd).

Take advantage of our Early Bird Special ($150/ticket) and purchase your tickets before September 1st before prices go up ($175/ticket). Please consider making an additional donation or signing up for one of our membership packages which include tickets to the auditions at a reduced rate. All donations are tax deductible up to the amount allowed by law; MONC NYC is a registered 501(c)3.

Special guests include Countertenors Anthony Roth Costanzo and Daniel Moody, Soprano Julia Wolcott... More to be announced soon.

Special guests are subject to change due to rehearsal schedules at the MetOpera, so keep an eye on our website and social media pages to find out who will be joining us this year.

Leslie and Harmar Brereton are hosting this fabulous evening for the seventh time in a row. They generously underwrite this event, so all the money fundraised through ticket sales and donations goes towards setting up this year's auditions and its prizes.

You can look forward to the following:

6.30PM: Cocktails

7PM: Concert

8.15PM: Reception with the singers

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you all on September 19th.
