Where are they now: Viktor Antipenko and John Kapusta

Viktor Antipenko

Since our last meeting in March I performed Don Jose again at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
Now I am preparing Pikerton for my upcoming Butterfly debut in ÓPERA DE OVIEDO (Spain, this November). Right after, I have The Pretender from Boris Godunov in STAATHEATER KARLSRUHE (Germany, this November), then Luigi in Il Tabarro with VERO BEACH OPERA (Florida, January 2015) and the title role in Wagner's Lohengrin at OPÉRA DE ROUEN HAUTE NORMANDIE (France, May 2015). I am also singing a few recitals during the season.

John Kapusta

In June, John made his Carnegie Hall debut as Lord Cecil in Roberto Devereux with the Opera Orhestra of New York.  John spent the summer as a young artist at the Glimmerglass Festival performing as the Dance Captain (Tanzmeister) in Ariadne in Naxos and as Rev. McMillan in the premier of a revised version of Picker's An American Tragedy.  This December he will make his Washington National Opera debut as The Vain Man/Snake in Portman's The Little Prince.
